The technology available in this space is progressing at warp-speed, but it is the people that will utilise it. Improving our connection and our human experience when interacting with technology is a core goal of DeSciWorld.

The cryptocurrency community is largely borne of STEM graduates and other similarly interested groups of people. The traditional education/research system, with its archaic structures and funding partners has oft alienated people to the point of throwing in the towel and “going full-time crypto”. A professionally maintained DAO would give many a welcome route back into the research field.

Why contribute?

The correlation between community engagement and a project's success is very strong; community is the cornerstone of success in any crypto project.

Members that add value to the ecosystem are the most precious resource that we have and we want to nurture and support anyone that can meaningfully contribute to DeSciWorld. We are not releasing a token and thus rewarding participants is a more complicated concept. We are experimenting with a variety of incentive mechanisms to attract, retain and reward those that help us on our journey. Stay tuned for more details on this.

Who can contribute?

ANYONE!

Seriously, anyone with a keen attitude and an internet connection can become a valuable member of the DeSciWorld community and, potentially, the team. There are countless stories of people that originally had no skills or connections within the blockchain space and found a role in a project's community. Our own founding member, Joshua, himself began as a community member in Harvest Finance before being given a spot in the team. This type of community-turned-team story is not unique at all; there are opportunities in this space for everyone.
