What is DeSciWorld?
DeSciWorld aims to become the beating heart of the DeSci space.
Funded and directed by the DeSciWorldDAO, DeSciWorld exists as the communications entity to promote and expand the culture of Decentralised Science.
The DAO will function principally as a growth treasury for the DeSciWorld culture and ecosystem. Although it is possible the DeSciWorldDAO will support proposed research grants in the community, our primary role is to foster peer-to-peer interactions and the community infrastructure that will allow DeSci to flourish.

Currently, these three principal areas (detailed further below) are explored by DeSciWorld:
Information Aggregation;
DeScientist community infrastructure, incentivisation and, ultimately, empowerment;
Expansion and exploration of the crossover between academia and culture, both inside the halls of Science and out.
Information Aggregation
DeSci Dashboard
The primary product of DeSciWorld is our DeSci Dashboard. Put simply, the DeSci Dashboard is a free-to-use online information hub that displays information about DeSci projects in an easily digestible format. It's the single most efficient way to get informed about all that DeSci has to offer.
Events Calendar
We adore the collaborative spirit of Web3 and believe it is fundamental to the progression of this space. Thus, we have created an aggregated Events Calendar for the DeSci space. Keeping track of the numerous community calls, focus sessions, podcasts, AMAs etc. that help us to stay up to date has never been easier.
Job Board
Opportunities abound in Web3; keeping track of the myriad of job postings can be a full-time occupation in itself. Our aggregated Job Board includes job postings from all of our Partner Projects in a single, beautiful UX.
Blog
The DeSciWorld Blog features multimedia content that addresses all areas of the DeSci space, both created in-house and curated from our Partners.
Empowering the DeScientist
Broadly defined as a "DeScientist", those that contribute to the decentralised science ecosystem are our primary interest. We endeavour to continue finding innovative ways to enable and empower particpation, however that might look. Alongside our information aggregation services, we offer a variety of mechanics, applied both theoretically and technically, that make being a DeScientist fun, effective and valuable.
Peer-to-Peer Grant Funding Platform
Designed from the ground up, this P2P Grant Funding Platform is a central pillar in our effort to empower DeScientists globally. Bottlenecked research funding has arguably been the biggest blocker to real and desirable change in the field of science; gatekeeping and elitism sadly still dictate proceedings. This take on funding is experimental and designed to faciliate longtail research objectives.
Community Participation Initiatives
Centred around our DeSciWorld Discord server, our token economy - when taken to its fullest potential - will fairly distribute reward incentives to a community of talented, diverse and capable DeScientists.

Culture and Academia
Academia influences culture in ways unseen by most. Our research findings dictate policy, our technological advances change society and popular social sciences have reduced humanity - with all it's splendour, foibles and variety - into a rational imaginary that can be dissected and examined much like a rat in a lab.
This reduction of the human spirit by rational and academic frameworks is a core reason that many are disillusioned with the sciences. Rather than seeking the profound beauty to be found in the minutae of the Natural Truth, most instead seperate the concept of art and culture from science.
NFT Spotlight
NFTs are revolutionising the way that artists create and distribute their works. Our NFT Spotlight service is extended to anyone building an NFT in some way related to DeSci and is designed to bring attention to the untapped artistic potential that science holds. Microbial universes, a fungal paradise, mammallian mating music and the splendour of the Solar System are all examples of how beautiful science can be.
