"Builders" is a common way to refer to Blockchain Engineers. The hands of our ecosystem, they utilise programming languages to craft the foundations of the Web3 economy. In the case of DeSciWorld, our builders are skilled in the coding language Solidity, Ethereum's native language.

Expressing an idea and making it executable through code is a brilliant thing and without these people, blockchain would just be an idea. Builders are consistently releasing tooling that has never existed in the digital realm before, revolutionising all aspects of the traditional economy - financial, social, cultural and productive landscapes are shaped through the law of code.

It is vital that we attract and retain high quality builders into the DeSci movement and through DeSciWorld we hope to achieve this. Freedom to create and experiment with impactful tooling that is actually implemented, alongside respectable pecuniary incentives, is a formula we anticipate will attract bright minds. Further, whilst resident builders are a wonderful thing, it is not essential in this space to have a full-time position. The freelance nature of this space keeps the creative juices flowing and ideas abound.
